September 2019 <\/strong>fand in New South Wales, <strong>Australien<\/strong>, die <strong>PPC1500 Weltmeisterschaft<\/strong> statt. Mit am Start stand PSVV Mitglied <strong>Walter Selb<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2019_11_05_wmAustralien_01.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>An der Weltmeisterschaft nahmen <strong>126 Sch\u00fctzen <\/strong>aus <strong>neun Nationen <\/strong>teil. Waren die Wetterbedingungen an den Trainingstagen mit maximal 15\u00b0C und Windgeschwindigkeiten bis 40 km\/h\u00a0f\u00fcr australische Verh\u00e4ltnisse sehr kalt, hatte der Wettergott\u00a0rechtzeitig zu den Bewerben\u00a0ein Einsehen, und die Bedingungen h\u00e4tten an den Wettkampftagen mit Sonnenschein bei Temperaturen um <strong>20\u00b0C und Windstille <\/strong>nicht besser sein k\u00f6nnen. Was hat es mit PPC1500 eigentlich auf sich? Hier eine Infoseite des Verbands f\u00fcr sportliches Gro\u00dfkaliberschie\u00dfen: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vsgoe.at\/disziplinen\/ppc-1500\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #021f59;\">PPC1500\u00a0Kurzinformation des VSG \u00d6sterreich<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2019_11_05_wmAustralien_04.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Unter diesen perfekten Bedingungen lief <strong>Walter Selb <\/strong>zur Bestform auf und holte\u00a0insgesamt sieben Einzelmedaillen: Neben einem <strong>Klassensieg <\/strong>im <strong>Distinguished Revolver<\/strong>, einem <strong>zweiten Platz <\/strong>im <strong>Revolver 1500 <\/strong>(beide in der Masterklasse) und <strong>zwei dritten Pl\u00e4tzen <\/strong>in der Highmasterklasse (Distinguished Pistol und Standard Semi-Automatic Pistol) reichten diese Ergebnisse auch noch zu <strong>drei Overall-Medaillen<\/strong>, davon besonders hervorzuheben der <strong>Vizeweltmeistertitel <\/strong>(overall) im <strong>Distinguished Revolver<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2019_11_05_wmAustralien_02.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Gemeinsam mit <strong>Walter Thorgele <\/strong>war Walter Selb auch als <strong>Team <\/strong>fast unschlagbar.
