Nach ihrem Sieg zum Saisonauftakt in R\u00f6cksee legte Sabine Buxhofer<\/STRONG> beim IRONM<\/FONT>AN<\/STRONG> 70.3 in St. P\u00f6lten<\/STRONG> mit dem 2. Platz<\/STRONG> nach. Auch Matthias <\/STRONG>durfte sich als Zweiter <\/STRONG>feiern lassen.<\/p>\n

\nNach ihrem AK-Sieg im letzten Jahr durfte sich Sabine Buxhofer <\/STRONG>2014 \u00fcber den zweiten Platz <\/STRONG>und das 4. “M<\/FONT>dot”<\/STRONG> ihrer Karriere freuen. Diese begehrte Ironman Troph\u00e4e – ein gro\u00dfes M mit Punkt – gibt es nur f\u00fcr einen Top 3 Platz bei einer Ironman-Veranstaltung. Sabine <\/STRONG>finishte in 4:53 h<\/STRONG> als Zweite ihrer AK und als 21. Dame gesamt. Im Radsplit konnte sie sich gegen\u00fcber 2013 gleich um 5 Minuten <\/STRONG>steigern, obwohl damals das Schwimmen weg fiel. Beeindruckend auch die abschlie\u00dfende Halbmarathonzeit von 1:29:18 h<\/STRONG> (4:14 min\/km).

Gemessen am Starterfeld und daran, dass es sich letztes Jahr witterungsbedingt nur um einen “Duathlon” (ohne Schwimmen) handelte, bedeutete Sabine dieser zweite Rang fast mehr als der Sieg im Vorjahr.

Auch Matthias Buxhofer<\/STRONG> durfte sich wieder \u00fcber eine Ironman-Troph\u00e4e freuen. In 4:23:04 h<\/STRONG> erreichte er in seiner Altersklasse M40 ebenfalls den zweiten Rang. Auch wenn Matthias seinen Trainingsaufwand reduziert hat, sind seine Teilergebnisse beeindruckend: 2:24:11 h<\/STRONG> f\u00fcr die 90 km Radstrecke <\/STRONG>(37,5 km\/h) und 1:21:42 h<\/STRONG> f\u00fcr den Halbmarathon <\/STRONG>(3:52 min\/km) sprechen f\u00fcr sich!
