Juni 2023 fand zum insgesamt 39. Mal die internationale Polizeiregatta vor Langenargen statt. Wie bereits zur Tradition geworden, fand am Vortag der Regatta der gesellschaftliche Part, der sog. \u201eSeglerhock\u201c, in den R\u00e4umlichkeiten des Yachtclub Langenargens statt. Am darauffolgenden Tag begr\u00fc\u00dfte uns Landespolizeidirektor Dr. Hans Peter Ludescher pers\u00f6nlich beim Yachtclub Langenargen, ehe die Regattateilnehmer um 10.00 Uhr an der Steuermannsbesprechung teilnahmen. Dabei wurden die letzten Informationen zum Ablauf der Regatta und den Windprognosen, seitens der Wettfahrtleitung mitgeteilt.<\/p>\r\n<p>Unter dem Starterfeld von 24 Segelbooten aus Deutschland, Schweiz und \u00d6sterreich befanden sich dieses Jahr wieder zwei Segelboote aus \u00d6sterreich an der Startlinie. Zum einen die Crew bestehend aus Silvio Tschernitz, Heidi Jussel und Karin Baldauf mit dem Steuermann Josef Jussel auf einer Bavaria 31 und zum anderen die Crew mit Alan Jacq, Caterina Patarino, Michael Fessler und Florian Bitschnau mit dem Steuermann Michael Quendler auf einer Sunbeam 33.<\/p>\r\n<p>Leider lie\u00df der zuvor zwei Wochen anhaltende Nordostwind am Regattatag aus und somit war vorerst warten auf Wind angesagt. Um etwa 14.00 Uhr nutzte die Wettfahrtleitung die erste Windkante aus westlicher Richtung f\u00fcr das Startsignal der Polizeiregatta. Die beiden \u00f6sterreichischen Segelboote legten einen sehr guten Start auf der Steuerbordseite hin und lieferten sich auf dem Regattakurs bis zur Ziellinie ein packendes Duell um die Podestpl\u00e4tze der Yardstickgruppe 2 (berechnete Wertung). Die Ziellinie \u00fcberquerte das Segelboot um Steuermann Josef Jussel unmittelbar vor dem Segelboot um Steuermann Michael Quendler und belegten somit die Pl\u00e4tze zwei und drei.<\/p>\r\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend an die Regatta fand auf der Terrasse des Yachtclub Langenargens die Siegerehrung und ein feierlicher Ausklang statt. Hierbei gilt es wieder einmal einen gro\u00dfen Dank an Veranstalter des F\u00f6rdervereins \u201eInternationale Polizeiregatta Bodensee e.V.\u201c auszusprechen, welche von A-Z eine perfekte Organisation ablieferten.<\/p>\r\n<p>F\u00fcr die Sektion Wassersport<br \/>Michael Quendler<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Am 16.
